Help Ousman Find Stability and a Fresh Start 🇬🇲❤️
My name HENRY the creator of MAN — Mind. Action. No Excuses. Through MAN, I share the stories of men whose struggles and dreams often go unnoticed. Today, I’m asking for your support for Ousman, a young Gambian who deserves a chance to build a better future.
Ousman has shared that he currently sleeps on the streets and sometimes finds a parked car or a mechanic’s garage where he can sleep until morning. Every day, he goes out to hustle, calling customers and doing what he can to survive. Despite these difficult circumstances, he continues to work, hold on to his dreams, and encourage other young Gambians not to give up.
His story has touched many people, and several have expressed a desire to help. This campaign is an opportunity to turn that compassion into practical support.
What will the funds cover?
Our initial fundraising goal is D20,000. With your support, we hope to help Ousman with essential needs such as:
Basic necessities: Food, clothing, hygiene products, and other immediate essentials.
A mobile phone: To help him communicate with people offering genuine job opportunities and support.
Work-related expenses: Transport and other reasonable costs that may help him pursue verified opportunities.
A step toward stability: Other essential needs agreed upon with Ousman, based on his circumstances and priorities.
The funds will be used for Ousman’s agreed needs. Any platform, transaction, or withdrawal fees will be accounted for, and updates will be shared so supporters can see how the contributions are used.
Why your support matters
No young person should have to face such difficult circumstances alone. Ousman does not need empty promises or sympathy alone; he deserves dignity, opportunity, and a chance to work toward his dreams.
Every contribution, no matter the size, can help. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign may help it reach someone who can.
Through MAN, our mission is to give every man a voice and remind the world that every man has a story worth hearing.
Thank you for standing with Ousman and helping us take a practical step toward a better chapter in his life.
May Allah bless everyone who contributes, shares this campaign, or helps open a door for him. Ameen. 🤲🏽❤️🇬🇲

Rebuilding the Sinchang Women’s Market Together
Community

Grand Rising Brothers And Sisters Family, Friends and community members.

It's your humble brother, Moses the chairperson for Sinchang Village Development Committee

I am writing to you on behalf of the resilient women and families of the Sinchang community. For years, our local women traders have been the economic backbone of this area, selling fresh produce, fish, vegetables and everyday essentials to support their households. However, they face a severe challenge: they lack a proper, safe, and sheltered environment to conduct their business.

Currently, many of these women are forced to sell their goods out in the open, completely exposed to scorching heat, heavy rains, and unsafe conditions. This doesn't just impact their daily earnings; it threatens their health, ruins their inventory, and limits their ability to feed and educate their children.

The Vision: A Safe Haven for Commerce

We are raising funds to construct a designated, permanent Sinchang Women's Market. This infrastructure project will provide a sheltered, secure, and sanitary space where our women can thrive as entrepreneurs.

Your generous contributions will go directly toward buying construction materials and funding the project phases:

• Phase 1: Clearing and preparing the designated market ground.

• Phase 2: Laying concrete foundations and erecting structural brick walls.

• Phase 3: Installing a durable, weather-proof roof.

• Phase 4: Building individual vendor stalls and basic sanitary facilities.

How You Can Help

Building this market is about more than brick and mortar—it is about restoring dignity, empowering female entrepreneurs, and securing the economic future of the entire Sinchang community.

No contribution is too small. A donation of $25 or $50 can buy a bag of cement or a roofing sheet. If you are unable to donate financially, you can still make a massive impact by hitting the Share button and sending this link to your family, friends, and community groups.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and solidarity with the women of Sinchang.

Help repair a damaged house
Community

Please Help Us Raise D18,000 to Restore My Elderly Mother’s Home

My name is Muhammed Habib Jallow from Dippa Kunda, and today I am humbly asking for your help for my elderly mother and my family.

I never thought I would have to publicly share my family’s difficulties and ask people for assistance. But sometimes, no matter how hard we try, life brings us to a point where we have to reach out and say: please, help us.

Recently, the heavy rains caused severe damage to two rooms in our family compound. The damage has made the rooms unusable, and the tenants who were renting them have had to leave.

For my mother, these two rooms were much more than part of a house. They were her source of monthly rental income and an important means of supporting herself. Now that the tenants have left, that income has stopped completely.

Our family has already been facing tremendous hardship since my father passed away last year. My mother is getting old, and the responsibilities on our family have become increasingly difficult.

There are five of us in the family: my mother, my elder sister and her daughter, my elder brother who is mentally unstable, and myself.

I am a civil servant, and I work hard to support my family. But I am also struggling financially because I have a loan deducted from my salary every month. The deductions have placed a significant burden on me, making it impossible for me to cover the full cost of the repairs by myself while also meeting our daily family responsibilities.

Our Target: D18,000

We have spoken with a construction worker and agreed on D18,000 for the repair of both damaged rooms, including the necessary expenses/materials and payment for the repair work.

This is the amount we need to restore the rooms so they can become safe and usable again, allowing my mother to hopefully regain the rental income she desperately depends on.

D18,000 may be a large amount for our family to raise alone, but together, with the kindness of others, we believe it is possible.

I am therefore making this humble appeal to anyone who is willing to help.

Please help us.

Even a small contribution can bring us closer to our goal. D50, D100, D500, D1,000, or any amount you can afford will make a difference. Many small acts of kindness can become something great.

If you cannot contribute financially, please share this campaign with your friends, family, colleagues, community, and anyone who may be able to help. A simple share could reach someone who can make a life-changing difference for my mother.

I am making this appeal with a humble heart for the sake of Allah. We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for help to repair the rooms that provide my elderly mother with the small income she needs to survive and support our family.

My father is no longer with us, and the responsibility has become heavier. I am doing everything within my ability, but right now, I need the support of others to help my mother through this difficult situation.

Please stand with us. Please help us restore these two rooms. Please help us give my mother back the little source of income she has lost.

May Allah reward every person who donates, shares this campaign, makes dua for us, or helps us in any way. May Allah put barakah in your wealth, protect your families, and return your kindness to you many times over. Ameen.

Our goal is D18,000.

Please help us reach it for my mother.

With sincere gratitude and humility,
Muhammed Habib Jallow
Dippa Kunda

LIFTUP FOUNDATION A REGISTRED FOUNDATION WITH NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL

Help Us Build LIFTUP Foundation and Create Opportunities for Those Who Need Them Most

Lifting People. Empowering Communities. Creating Hope.

I am starting LIFTUP Foundation with a simple but powerful dream: to create opportunities for people who are struggling and to remind vulnerable members of our communities that they are not forgotten.

Growing up and living in The Gambia has allowed me to see firsthand how difficult life can be for families and young people who have limited resources. I have seen people with dreams, talents and potential, but without the financial means, education, skills or support needed to turn those dreams into reality.

This is what inspired the creation of LIFTUP Foundation.

LIFTUP is being built as a community-focused initiative dedicated to supporting vulnerable people and empowering individuals to become more self-reliant. Our goal is not simply to provide temporary assistance, but to help create lasting opportunities.

What We Want to Do

With the support of donors, friends, organizations and well-wishers, LIFTUP Foundation hopes to develop programs that include:

Supporting vulnerable children and families with essential needs.

Providing educational materials and support for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Organizing skills-development and empowerment programs for young people.

Supporting women and young people with opportunities for economic empowerment.

Conducting community outreach and humanitarian activities.

Supporting people facing difficult circumstances with basic necessities.

Creating programs that encourage young people to develop their talents, confidence and leadership skills.

Building partnerships with individuals, organizations and communities to create sustainable solutions.

Why Your Support Matters

Starting a foundation is not easy. A good idea alone cannot change lives without resources, people and support behind it.

That is why I am reaching out through this GoFundMe campaign.

Every contribution will help us take practical steps toward establishing LIFTUP Foundation and beginning our community work. Whether it is a small donation or a larger contribution, every amount represents someone choosing to believe that positive change is possible.

We also welcome people who may not be able to donate but can support us by sharing this campaign, connecting us with organizations, volunteering their time or simply spreading the word.

Our Vision

Our dream is to grow LIFTUP Foundation into an organization that can reach communities across The Gambia and, eventually, support initiatives beyond our borders.

We want to create a future where a child’s circumstances do not determine their potential, where young people have opportunities to develop their skills, where vulnerable families can find support, and where communities have the tools to build sustainable solutions for themselves.

We may be starting small, but we believe small beginnings can lead to great impact.

If you choose to support LIFTUP Foundation, you are not simply donating money. You are helping us build an opportunity for someone who may otherwise be left behind.

Help us lift someone today.

Together, we can turn compassion into action, opportunity into possibility, and hope into a better future.

LIFTUP Foundation

Lifting People. Empowering Communities. Creating Hope.

Thank you for believing in this vision and for being part of our journey.
