Fees & Pricing
GamFundMe should be transparent about platform fees, provider fees, and payout costs before real money moves.

Current MVP position
Before launch, confirm the exact fee model for GamFundMe and the live provider fees from ModemPay or any other payment partner. The final amounts should match what users see in the donation and payout flows.
Platform fee
GamFundMe is designed to keep fundraising accessible and transparent.
For MVP launch, any platform fee should be shown clearly before donations and payouts are finalized.
If a campaign-specific or category-specific fee is introduced later, it should be displayed before donors give and before organizers request payouts.
Payment provider fees
Payment providers may charge fees for processing mobile wallet payments, refunds, or transfers.
For MVP, donors may cover the payment provider processing fee according to the active merchant policy.
Provider fees are shown on the secure payment confirmation page before the donor completes payment.
Payout fees
Payouts may include provider transfer fees depending on the payout network and provider balance rules.
GamFundMe checks payout readiness before a payout is sent, including whether the available payout balance can cover the payout amount and transfer fee.
If funds are not yet available in the provider payout balance, a payout may be delayed until settlement is complete.
Refunds and reversals
Refunds, failed payments, reversals, or provider disputes can affect the amount available for payout.
If a donation is not confirmed by the payment provider, it will not be counted as completed campaign funds.
If a payout fails or is reversed, GamFundMe will update the payout status and may require admin review.
