GamFundMe currently charges no platform fee. Organizers only pay the costs associated with processing donations and transferring campaign funds.

Give using a wallet or card
GamFundMe does not add a mandatory platform fee to your donation.
You can donate with Wave, APS, QMoney, AfriMoney, Visa, or Mastercard. Card donations are completed on a secure payment page.
Card donations must meet the payment provider's minimum equivalent of US$1. The required amount in Dalasi can change with exchange rates and is confirmed when you choose card payment.
If you choose to donate D500, your campaign contribution is D500.
You may be offered the option to make a separate voluntary contribution to GamFundMe. This is completely optional and can be set to D0.

When a donation is successfully completed, GamFundMe applies the collection fee for the selected payment method.
The collection fee is deducted from campaign proceeds rather than added as a mandatory fee to the donor. The minimum fee depends on the payment method, so small donations may have a larger proportion deducted.

Settlement and payout eligibility
When donation funds can be paid out
Funds are counted toward a campaign only after the payment is confirmed.
Confirmed mobile-wallet donations normally become eligible for payout after one hour. Confirmed Visa and Mastercard donations become eligible for payout after three business days.
Card payments may take 2–3 business days to settle with the payment provider. A card issuer or provider may decline a payment, and a declined payment is not added to the campaign.

A payout fee may apply when campaign funds are sent to an organizer or beneficiary.
GamFundMe currently charges 1% for Wave payouts and 0.5% for AfriMoney payouts.
The payout summary shows the transfer amount, provider fee, and expected amount the recipient will receive. The final provider quote is checked again before the transfer is sent and may change.
The payout fee is borne by the organizer. It is shown separately and may reduce the amount delivered to the payout wallet.

The payout summary shows the exact fee in Dalasi for your transfer before the request is submitted. The final provider quote is checked again before the transfer is sent.
Why the amount raised can differ from the amount available
A campaign may display the full amount successfully donated while the amount available for payout is lower.
This can be because of:
- payment-processing fees
- funds still awaiting settlement or payout eligibility
- refunds or reversals
- previous payouts
- pending payout requests
- payout fees
- other valid adjustments
The amount available for payout is the amount that has cleared settlement and remains available after valid adjustments.
Refunds and payment disputes
Refunds, reversals, and payment disputes can reduce the funds available to a campaign. If a payment provider has already charged a processing fee and does not return it, that fee may remain deducted from the campaign balance.
