As-salamu alaykum / Greetings,Welcome to our fundraising page! We are raising funds to organize a bigger, better, and more impactful Ramadan Quranic Competition for the students at Quranic schools in Bundung and its surrounding towns.Last year, we launched this initiative to celebrate and encourage young students dedicating their lives to memorizing the Holy Quran. The event was an overwhelming success, bringing together communities, sparking joyful competition, and inspiring dozens of children. Students competed fiercely, and we rewarded top performers with smartphones and cash prizes of 5,000, while ensuring every single remaining participant walked away with a token of 1,000 to honor their dedication. We also distributed Iftar so that everyone could break their fast together in community and unity.Why This Event MattersFor many of these young students, learning and memorizing the Quran requires immense discipline, long hours, and perseverance. This competition provides a vital platform to:Encourage Excellence: Recognize hard work and motivate students to reach higher standards in their Quranic studies.Build Community: Foster a spirit of cooperation, brotherhood, and joy among different Quranic schools in Bundung and surrounding areas.Spread the Blessings of Ramadan: Create a festive, spiritually uplifting environment complemented by community Iftar gatherings.

Please Help Us Raise D18,000 to Restore My Elderly Mother’s HomeMy name is Muhammed Habib Jallow from Dippa Kunda, and today I am humbly asking for your help for my elderly mother and my family.I never thought I would have to publicly share my family’s difficulties and ask people for assistance. But sometimes, no matter how hard we try, life brings us to a point where we have to reach out and say: please, help us.Recently, the heavy rains caused severe damage to two rooms in our family compound. The damage has made the rooms unusable, and the tenants who were renting them have had to leave.For my mother, these two rooms were much more than part of a house. They were her source of monthly rental income and an important means of supporting herself. Now that the tenants have left, that income has stopped completely.Our family has already been facing tremendous hardship since my father passed away last year. My mother is getting old, and the responsibilities on our family have become increasingly difficult.There are five of us in the family: my mother, my elder sister and her daughter, my elder brother who is mentally unstable, and myself.I am a civil servant, and I work hard to support my family. But I am also struggling financially because I have a loan deducted from my salary every month. The deductions have placed a significant burden on me, making it impossible for me to cover the full cost of the repairs by myself while also meeting our daily family responsibilities.Our Target: D18,000We have spoken with a construction worker and agreed on D18,000 for the repair of both damaged rooms, including the necessary expenses/materials and payment for the repair work.This is the amount we need to restore the rooms so they can become safe and usable again, allowing my mother to hopefully regain the rental income she desperately depends on.D18,000 may be a large amount for our family to raise alone, but together, with the kindness of others, we believe it is possible.I am therefore making this humble appeal to anyone who is willing to help.Please help us.Even a small contribution can bring us closer to our goal. I'm a returnee who has decided to rebuild my life through farming. Since my return, I have been actively engaged in agriculture and working hard to create a sustainable future for myself.Through my own efforts, I was fortunately able to dig a borehole on my farm, which gives me access to water for irrigation. However, I currently do not have enough money to purchase the drip irrigation system, mulching materials, seeds, fertilizer, and other essential farming inputs needed to make full use of the water source.The funds raised will be used to install a drip irrigation system, purchase mulching materials and farming inputs, prepare and cultivate the farm, and support the production of vegetables and other crops.This support would mean a lot to me because it would help me become more self-reliant instead of depending on others. With proper irrigation and mulching, I can farm more efficiently, produce crops throughout more of the year, increase my income, and build a stable livelihood.I am not asking for support simply to receive money. I am asking for an opportunity to invest in my own work and build a better future through farming.
